I wanted to capture the fleeting beauty of white apple blossoms as they crest into full bloom and painted . Airy branches drift across the canvas in soft layers of white against a loose dramatic and colorful background.
I used loose, expressive brushwork allowing the flowers to breathe and float, creating a sense of movement and lightness, as though the branches are swaying in a warm summer garden breeze. The palette is colorful and luminous, evoking freshness, joy, and the serene elegance of a flowering garden at rest.
This is an oil painting on masonite board and requires a frame. Price listed is for the "painting only", but I do have a frame available. Call 403-700-7915 if you would like a frame included and I can send pictures of my frame to see if you like it.
