Exotic Days

Limited Artist Edition Fine Art Puzzle by Kimberley Cook

Escape into a world of colour with Exotic Days, a distinctive circular puzzle featuring an original floral painting by Canadian artist Kimberley Cook.

Piece by piece, rich colour, expressive brushwork and intricate floral details emerge to recreate Exotic Days—transforming one of Kimberley’s original paintings into an art experience you can enjoy in your own home.

Unlike mass-produced puzzles, Exotic Days is created in small quantities as part of a Limited Artist Edition. Two additional Kimberley Cook Fine Art puzzle designs are also available, each featuring a different original painting.

A Puzzle Designed to Be Different

Each puzzle is produced in small batches by a specialty manufacturer whose smaller-scale production allows for greater flexibility, attention to detail and limited production runs that would not typically be practical with large, mass-market manufacturers.

A custom die is created for each puzzle size, producing pieces in a wonderful variety of individual shapes and sizes. Rather than relying on the limited number of repeating piece shapes commonly found in mass-produced puzzles, the varied pieces make the experience more interesting, distinctive and genuinely challenging.

The puzzle is made with a sturdy 1.5 mm grey-board backing. While slightly thinner than some of the thickest big-brand puzzles, the quality of the board and precision of the cut create sturdy, clean-fitting pieces while maintaining the refined feel of this artist-edition puzzle.

Beautiful Colour & Thoughtful Materials

Exotic Days is beautifully reproduced using rich, high-quality, non-toxic plant-based inks, chosen to capture the colour, clarity and detail of Kimberley’s original painting while providing excellent longevity.

The puzzle is made using 100% recycled cardboard for the backing and puzzle box, along with plant-based inks and non-toxic glue, making it a more environmentally thoughtful choice. The cardboard components are also recyclable.

Why an Artist Edition?

The price of each puzzle reflects its premium printing, custom-cut construction, small-batch production and limited-edition nature. Most importantly, your purchase supports Canadian artist-made design rather than factory-scale, mass-produced artwork.

With 672 pieces and a finished circular size of 18" × 24.5," Exotic Days offers a relaxing yet engaging challenge and makes a beautiful gift for puzzle lovers, flower lovers and anyone who appreciates original art.
