8x10" oil study of lily pads in a pond on canvas board. I have always been fascinated by water, whether its lakes, oceans or lily ponds. This was based on some photo references from ponds with lily pads in BC. I have always loved lotus flowers and lily pads and mysterious and intimate water features.
