This 48 × 60" peony oil painting was created as a custom commission, with all commissioned works thoughtfully priced according to size. The process begins by determining where the artwork will be placed and identifying the most suitable wall in your space, taking into consideration ceiling height, wall dimensions, and any furnishings that may influence the ideal scale and orientation of the piece. Once the size is determined, as the price is based on the size, then a price is given. In this case a 48" x 60" x 1.5" canvas is $8500. Important note: ( For commissions over 30x36" shipping is free).
A digital Art Mock-Up of the size and shape is provided to help you visualize how the painting will live within your room, ensuring it fills the space beautifully while maintaining balance and openness — as in design, scale is everything, and a large wall with an undersized artwork can be the greatest missed opportunity in a room. Once the size, floral subject, colour palette, and overall composition are confirmed, a preliminary sketch is created before painting begins.
A 50% deposit is required to commence the work, with progress updates provided throughout the process.
As the painting nears completion, you will have the opportunity to review the piece and request a few small refinements if needed, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
